Description
They don't take the fruits of their hard work directly to the washing station, as is common in East African coffee farming. In the Gerse region, the network of farmers themselves bears significant responsibility. They consistently choose to dry the cherries on their own farms. This results in a burst of flavor in your cup of coffee, with floral notes and blueberry flavors.

Selecting the right coffee beans requires the time and attention of our roasters and beankeepers. Together with head roaster Pieter Claes, they determine which coffee beans we like to serve to our guests.
The Roastery
All our coffee beans are freshly roasted weekly at The Roastery, in the heart of Leuven. Here, we inspect the quality of the green beans, roast fully electric, cup to refine the flavor palette, and package and ship the coffee to you and our bars.
You can visit The Roastery from Monday to Saturday for a coffee, advice on the right coffee machine, or for one of our lab workshops.
